On-site MEMUBulk Emulsion
Using bulk explosives emulsion offers the advantage of a perfect combination of the rock and explosives enabling superior performance of the product and therefore optimization of the drilling, blasting and downstream operations.
Titanobel offers two types of bulk emulsions:
- Gemulsite 80
This is an explosive manufactured and delivered on-site in vertical holes.
This explosive is specially designed for use in quarries and on public works sites.
It is recommended for blasting hard and very hard rocks that require high blasting powder factors. It is also suitable for holes where water is present.
- Gemulstar V
This is a pumpable emulsion pre-sensitized using glass microchips when it is manufactured in the factory.
Gemulstar V is recommended for hard and very hard rocks that require high blasting powder factors.
Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil (ANFO) mixtures
ANFOs are bulk explosives used in column charges for blasting soft and hard rocks at worksites, mines and quarries where there is no water.
Using ANFO offers the advantage of a good coupling of the explosives and the rock, thereby eliminating the risk of charge discontinuity.
This explosive, which can be reinforced with aluminum, is a high-energy explosive that provides optimal detonation performance.
