TITANOBEL performed a one week training session in August, 2016 in Equatorial Guinea upon request of SOGEA SATOM, one of his main international customers. SOGEA SATOM, a subsidiary of French VINCI Group, is running Ebibeyin quarry to supply with aggregates its construction sites in this country.
All drillers and blasters of SOGEA SATOM in Equatorial Guinea have been trained to the use of explosives and accessories, as well as to the quality of blast-holes positionning and the optimization of blasting patterns. Our trainer also introduced the use of a 2D Laser profiler for positionning blast-holes and checked the possibilities to increase the drilling diameter.
Based on both theoritical and practical approach, led both in French and Spanish languages (Spanish beeing the official language of Equatorial Guinea), this training session was very appreciated by the various attendees. It allowed to improve their knowledge, to the satisfaction of local executives of SOGEA SATOM.
